The Mobile Medicine Innovation Roundtable is like no other event that our profession experiences. This year, at the exquisite and award-winning Brasada Ranch near Bend, Oregon, there are horses, a renowned golf course, an indoor pool, and if we're lucky, there might even be a bit of early season snow.
MMIR is not a vendor meeting or a user conference. Come prepared to contribute Big Ideas, especially as leaders from across the country kick off their Safe Streets & Roads for All (SS4A) grants, and are seeking ways to improve the health and safety of their communities, their agencies, and themselves.
There is no exhibit hall or rank. Our guests have come away with job offers, business deals, and friendships. There is plenty of wine, food, usually chocolate, and time to build lasting relationships.
Everyone is invited to present about their passionate concerns, goals...or what keeps them up at night. Only Jonathon knows the topics that will be presented -- and they can change at any time.

“I wanted to take an opportunity and tell you guys about the amazing experience we had at Beyond Lucid's Unconference. The informal nature of how this conference was conducted created unprecedented opportunities for us to network and make new friends.
As a direct result of the networking opportunity, the South Carolina EMS Association has brought on new vendor members, changed the scope of some of our speaking engagements that we have coming up in the future, and made long-lasting relationships that are helping drive the policy and direction of our association.

THE AGENDA OUTLINE IS AS FOLLOWS:
THE BRASADA RANCH IS OFFERING OUR SPECIAL RATE FOR THREE DAYS PRIOR TO AND AFTER THE UNCONFERENCE, in case you want to come early or stay late.
SUNDAY EVENING — 11/1:Come as you are. This is a casual schmooze for everyone who wants to start getting to know new friends (or catching up with old ones) early. Some people may face travel issues. Others will be tired. We’ll have some food and drink, or you can explore the ground, join us by the campfire, take a horseback ride, etc. There is an indoor pool so bring bathing suits if you’re not used to swimming in November! Whenever you arrive, we will look forward to seeing you!
MONDAY & TUESDAY 11/2-3 — We don’t start early: you deserve a chance to sleep in if you want to. THESE WILL BE LONG AND THOUGHTFUL DAYS. We begin around 10/11 AM with intros, then jump right in. Lunch takes place around 1 p.m., followed by more discussions. Mid-afternoon break. Dinner around 6:30/7 p.m. Prior attendees will attest that once everyone got to the firepits, we “closed up shop” when they kick us out, then we move to the nearest bar or even a cabin continue the conversations.
WEDNESDAY 11/4 — As per usual, we will start around 9:00 AM and plan to break around 1:00 p.m.-ish so anyone who needs to can make afternoon flights. Anyone who wants to stay longer, sure can! SPECIAL SUGGESTION: Nearby Bend features the LAST BLOCKBUSTER VIDEO!
