Dr. Mark Wittman is Chief Medical Officer of Beyond Lucid Technologies.
Mark has over twenty years of clinical experience in the practice of medicine, and is board certified in Emergency Medicine and Anesthesiology, with a subspecialty in Critical Care Medicine (ICU). He has been Associate Professor of Anesthesiology/Critical Care Medicine at the University of California at Irvine, and a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Anesthesia at UCLA Medical School. He has co-authored seven academic papers and delivered more than a dozen invited presentations at the top-rated Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he also served as Assistant Director of Surgery for Critical Care.
In addition to his clinical expertise, however, Mark has leveraged his unique breadth of education and interests to build a significant biomedical and healthcare technology consulting career. He has served as a consultant, business development director, or managing director of both public and privately-held entrepreneurial companies, and currently is responsible for ensuring both the clinical usefulness and market readiness of Beyond Lucid Technologies's portfolio of products.
Mark holds a Doctorate in Medicine from Northwestern University, with residencies completed at UCLA Medical Center and Massachusetts General Hospital. He also holds an MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California, and a Masters of Public Health from UCLA.
